Starting to lust after these M3 sedans as the prices come down. This one is pretty pricey due to low miles, but love the low specs - manual, iDrive delete, and cloth seats, never seen those before.
Also comes with 2 sets of rims + pilot super sport tires, and original tail lights included (so 2 sets) - doesn't sound like this guy cheaped out on the car.
Now, if I only had $38k lying around...

Something about the pre-LCI sedans realllllly does it for me. Nice find.

That is a well kept M3. i bet you anything that it belongs to a military guy.

LOL what makes you say that? I'd say many jalops are obsessive with their cars to the point of going out of their way to baby their cars.

Would much rather have one over a coupe.
I started off lusting over E39 M5s....but getting nervous about the age a bit I realized these E90 M3s are a very similar car, and a lot newer. Prices are starting to line up between the two - would make for a really good comparison I'd think.
Given no constraints I'd probably take the M5 in a heartbeat, but being the last N/A M3 and only V8 M3 is going to have some sort of special place in history too right?

Definitely a special place in history for the E90s, but the V8 in the E39 felt so much faster because of the readily available low end torque.

That's a good price.

If you don't buy this RIGHT NOW it will cause 1000 puppies to be kicked in the face

IMO I'd prefer the leather seats. Much nicer and more supportive.

You're right...I didn't even realize how impressive the torque figures on that thing are. Over 300lb-ft at 2,000 RPM 15 years ago was unheard of! I guess it comes down to a question of gutsy torque on the E39 vs less torque but revs to all hell on the E90. Wish I could just have them both someday.

Supercharger fixes most of that on the E90 :)
I encountered the most insane E92 on the highway last spring:

GOOD, I hate puppies!
JK...perhaps we could sell the gated shifter on your Ferrari to fund this purchase?! :P

That's crazy! Totally could've been one of those 993 Turbo "jizzed my pants!" video moments (it's been so long since I saw that, can't find it on youtube anymore and am sitting at my work computer so would rather not get adventurous with those search words!)

Haha!
Lol you're on your own on the monies. But it's seriously a NP for the mileage. And so hard to find an E90 with speed cloth and Manuél. My E90 M3 has leather and the DCT. You can find those all day long...
I bought my car when I lived farther from work and had traffic. Now every day I wake up and wish it was Manuél ;(

I think the seat is the same, just has cloth on the middle section instead of leather?

Pre-LCI?

this thing IS a find, lucky for the one getting it (Albeit the color is probably the worse).

Pre-facelifted E9x's
LCI = "life cycle impulse" aka slight facelift mid-generation

Thanks!
And that M3 is Unicorn.

I absolutely love cars like this. So often you have to order all the weighty additional options that you just don't need to get the most powerful engine.
There's something brilliant about a base car with the biggest engine you can get :)

Agreed...I love coming across cars that have delete options. Shows that someone cared enough to order a car exactly the way they wanted it, instead of just going crazy with the option boxes with a "more is always better!" philosophy. Probably means they really valued and cared for their car too.
